Just For Fun (JFF) Shooting

JFF competitions are held under club rules.

Shooting includes both rimfire and centerfire matches. Competitions are held April through September.

The main JFF rimfire competition is the weekly league held on Thursday evenings from May through September. Shooting is at 100 yards on the custom JFFSA target which is similar to the IBS 100-yard Hunter Rifle Target.

The 2024 JFF rimfire league will run for 21 weeks from May 2 through September 26 with no league on Thursday, July 4. The season is divided into three 7-week segments:

• Segment 1: May 2 - June 13
• Segment 2: June 20 - August 8 (no league on July 4)
• Segment 3: August 15 - September 26

Other JFF rimfire competitions may be held occasionally on an ad hoc basis.

JFF centerfire competitions are held at 100, 200, or 300 yards. Targets vary.

JFF centerfire matches will be held in 2024 on the following Sundays:

• April 28 - 100 yards
• May 26 - 200 yards
• July 14 - 300 yards
• August 4 - egg shoot
• August 25 - 200 yards, polka dot target
• September 29 - 200 yards, 100-yard JFFSA target

The annual egg shoot is a fundraiser for a charitable cause that changes from year to year.
