JFF competitions are held under club rules.
Shooting includes both rimfire and centerfire matches. Competitions are held April through September.
The main JFF rimfire competition is the weekly league held on Thursday evenings from May through September. Shooting is at 100 yards on the custom JFFSA target which is similar to the IBS 100-yard Hunter Rifle Target.
The 2025 JFF rimfire league will run for 22 weeks from May 1 through September 25. Other JFF rimfire competitions may be held occasionally on an ad hoc basis.

The annual egg shoot is a fundraiser for a charitable cause that changes from year to year.
JFF centerfire competitions are held at 100, 200, or 300 yards. Targets vary.
