IBS competitions are sanctioned by the International Benchrest Shooters.
There are two kinds of IBS shooting:
All IBS competitions at the JFF range are score shooting.
IBS rimfire competitions will be held on the following Saturdays in 2025 (tentative):
The course of fire is 20 minutes for 25 record shots (plus unlimited sighters) at 50 yards, followed by 20 minutes for 25 record shots (plus unlimited sighters) at 100 yards.
IBS centerfire competitions will be held on the following weekends in 2025 (tentative):
The course of fire each day is a warm-up target followed by five targets for score. Each target is five record shots (plus unlimited sighters) in 10 minutes.
You must be an IBS member to shoot in IBS matches. You can join at a match. To join prior to a match, start by clicking the button “Create Account & Join Today” on the homepage of the IBS website. Memberships are $45 per year for an individual, $15 for associates (same household), and $5 for juniors (17 and under). Memberships are for the year Feb. 1–Jan. 31 and are not pro-rated for a partial year.
